Question 1: What should I wear to classes?

Answer:
It is recommended that you wear workout shorts and vest top or t-shirt, as skin contact with the pole is needed. Stretchy material is best so that you have a good range of movement. Moisturiser is also not to be worn and please do not wear jewellery as this can damage the poles and your jewellery.

Question 2: Why can’t I apply moisturiser or tan before coming to class?

Answer:
These are never fully absorbed into the skin; it will transfer onto the pole during use and will interfere with yours as well as other students grip. It makes the pole slippery and therefore dangerous.

Question 3: What shoes do I wear?

Answer:
Most classes are taken with bare feet, although some people do wear trainers or pump style shoes. You will have the opportunity to wear heels later if you want. Please check your class information for more information.
